Tara Hupman
Tara Hupman is the Senior Vice President for Federal Affairs at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ (º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½). In this role she leads the clean power industry’s grassroots efforts and the PAC, and works on º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½â€™s political engagement at the federal and state level.
Prior to joining º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½, Tara served as General Counsel in House leadership, Chief Counsel for the House Committee on Energy & Commerce, Chief Counsel for the House Committee on Natural Resources, and Senior Counsel for the House Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure. Earlier in her career, Tara served on the Senate Committee for Small Business and the Senate Committee on Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs.
Tara earned her J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law, where she was on the Administrative Law Review and served as a Dean’s Fellow in the Law and Government program.
